Online courses

The Hazard Identification course is intended to instruct the student on how to:

  • Identify hazards
  • Conduct a safety and health inspection
  • Analyze hazards
  • Control hazards
  • Write their final report

The student will get an overview of the safety committee’s expectations and accident and incident analysis. The course also provides a reference to more Oregon OSHA resources and the full online courses to further their instruction.

Hazard Identification, Accident Investigation, and Safety Committees and Safety Meetings make up a three course “safety suite”. These courses serve an important role in educating safety committee members about what is expected of them, and how to best serve within their role.
