The 15th annual Mid-Oregon Construction Safety Summit takes place at The Riverhouse Resort and Convention Center, Jan. 25-26, 2016. This year's summit includes workshops for people in the construction industry and agriculture. Offerings include nine pre-conference workshops on Jan. 25, and 20 breakout sessions on Jan. 26.
The summit's keynote speaker is Todd Conklin, who will challenge attendees to "Think differently about safety." Conklin spent 25 years as a senior advisor at Los Alamos National Laboratory in the human performance and safety integration program. Conklin holds a Ph.D. in organizational behavior and communication from the University of New Mexico.
Registration for pre-conference workshops (Jan. 25) is $45 per person. Conference registration (Jan. 26) is $75 per person. The Safe Pesticides Workshop (Jan. 25) is $20 per person.
