Wildfire Smoke online course

This course is designed to address 6 of the 10 training requirements found in Oregon OSHA’s emergency rule on Protection from Wildfire Smoke, which is effective beginning August 9th.

  • Symptoms of wildfire smoke exposure,
  • Health effects of wildfire smoke,
  • The definition of sensitive groups,
  • Employee rights,
  • How to access the Air Quality Index and the pm2.5
  • The importance, limitations, and benefits of using a filtering facepiece respirator, and how to properly put them on.
