July 30, 2025 – The Department of Consumer and Business Services, pursuant to OAR 437-001-0430, hereby gives notice that the following variance is being revoked.
- Variance V-004-08, originally issued on November 30, 2008, to Nishimoto Orchards, Inc.
The variance was granted to allow use of labor housing with a ground to floor measurement of less than 12", so long as the employer maintained a vapor barrier under the housing. This variance is being revoked at the request of the employer as they are no longer using the housing and it is no longer registered with Oregon OSHA.
The variance is proposed to be revoked on September 1, 2025.
Anyone wishing to express views or arguments, orally or in writing, must submit a written request for a public hearing within 20 days of the date of this notice, along with written comments to the address provided. A public hearing will be held if the division receives requests from ten or more people or from an association with ten or more members. If sufficient requests are received to hold a public hearing, interested persons will be notified of the date and time of the hearing.
