The facts

• Anchorage connector is 5 feet above the working surface.
• Working surface is 10 feet above the ground.
• Lanyard working length is 6 feet.
• Shock-absorber deceleration distance is 3.5 feet (fully deployed).
• Free-fall distance must not be more than 6 feet.
• Calculation includes safety factor of 2-3 feet.
