Cranes and construction sites have a common bond. You see them everywhere high-rise buildings are going up. If you are doing construction work, see Oregon OSHA’s Division 3, Subdivision CC, rules. Subdivision CC covers cranes, derricks, and any other power-operated equipment that can hoist, lower, and horizontally move a suspended load. Oregon OSHA’s Cranes and derricks in construction describes the key requirements.
Of course, cranes and derricks are used in other industries, too. See the Rules tab below to learn about the requirements in those industries.
