Alliance purpose

Oregon OSHA as part of the Department of Consumer and Business Services (DCBS), the Oregon Institute of Occupational Health Sciences at OHSU, and SAIF are committed to improving the safety, health, and well-being of workers in Oregon by working together. They have established an Alliance to focus on Total Worker Health® principles, utilizing the strengths of each organization.

Through this collaboration, they will offer expertise, guidance, training, and education to enhance the health and safety of workers. Their goal is to reduce and prevent exposure to hazards and address related issues. Additionally, they aim to equip workers with the knowledge and skills to understand their rights as well as the responsibilities of employers.
