Walk-through
You and the consultant look at the safety, health, and ergonomic risks in your workplace.
Employee participation
Oregon OSHA supports employee involvement as much as possible.
Research and analysis
If asked, Oregon OSHA can carry out research or analyze hazards related to your business, like noise surveys or welding fume sampling. They will also check your safety and health program to see if you have the necessary written plans in place.
Closing meeting
In the closing meeting, the consultant will go over what you're doing well and areas that need improvement. You can also talk about any problems and how to fix or manage the hazards identified.
Findings and recommendations
After the consultation, the consultant reviews the information and gives a written report with findings and suggestions.
Hazard correction and follow through
You are responsible for fixing hazards. Oregon OSHA consultants can help you create a plan to address identified hazards and improve your safety and health management system.
