Forest activities applies to forestry, logging, and support activities. Oregon OSHA’s Division 7 forest activity rules cover the safety and health requirements for all forest activity work, including:

  • Applying chemicals
  • Chipping
  • Clearing and slash disposal
  • Constructing, maintaining, and decommissioning forest roads
  • Log dumps, ponds, log yards, and sort yards
